I am a grandmother age 47 guardian of my grandaughter age 8. I have had custody of her since age 2. Her father is in prison and her mother is dealing with bipolar issues from using drug for years still trying to get off drugs

So basicly we have be struggling but it has gotten worse since I got laid off 1 year ago and then my unemployed ran out recently and now I have no income to pay the rent and have used all the extra cash I have had to pay the rent. I don't know where to go to get help. We live in a low income apartment but are in need urgently. We can live without insurance and new things but really dont want to live in our car. Our family has helped with what they can but they are having hard times also, my parents live on social security and very limited income. We have been praying for someone to help us my grandaughter says she has hope but I am really scared. Don't know what else to do. Please help. 

My name is maria and I'm a single parent of a 3yr old and a new born baby girl (born 09/17/09). In July of  this year I ended up going on a web site for mystery shopping, which me being unemployed and pregnant at the time tought would be a good part time job for myself. I later on tried the job and recieved checks in the mail and cashed them, and followed special instructions to wire money. I didn't know much about mystery shopping and I ended up following instructions and ended up being scamed for my money (as well as losing all my money in the bank). I was devistated and went trough depression. Right now I'm barely hanging on day by day, with unemplyment that barely make's my car payment and car insurance payment. I barely have money to buy clothes for my 3yr old, myself, and my new born. I would really like donations of diapers and whipes, and I' m slowly waiting to get better to start searching for a job. Any kind of donation would greatly be appreciated.
